Early Roman Helmet dates to 50 BC during Caesar. From 18 gauge brass. The steel rings with central brass medallions are integrated into the helm with leather bands -these side rings allow a chin strap to be tied onto the helmet (chin strap not included).

Our Early Scottish Dirk is a direct descendant of the medieval ballock dagger style. The grip form began to change, probably sometime in the late 16th century, but soon developed a form that was purely Scottish. The blade was long and single-edged.

Colors and designs of the plaids used for early kilts conveyed no specific meaning until the 18th century. This kilt is available in either red and green or camel and navy plaid.
